Default November 4 boat ride in Syracuse, NY

Should be getting snowmobiles ready but Wednesday was just too nice not to take the only boat of mine I haven't winterized yet for a quick rip. This was the Seebold's last outing with the Little Tykes motor (150 Opti). Redoing the transom and putting my modded 250 with 300x parts and pieces on it.

Nice. I was up at the River taking a ride with a friend on his boat. I passed Paul's boat "Market Price" the red/yellow/white 38' slingshot with the Arnesons on 81 north. They must have had a flat tire. An hour later my buddy called me just after I left to go back to Cicero and said they went by his place on the River at 100 plus with a nice rooster tail. 75 degrees and dead calm. Gorgeous.

It has been very tempting to hit Oneida Lake this week even after winterizing my Renegade. Waiting for my Snowcheck sled!!! LOL

He is a guard at the nuke plant, they are trained not to show emotion when they kill you, or want to kill you. He was showing some emotion earlier when we tried going out onto the lake in some real 4 footers. We got a little wet.

Kept putting off winterizing my boat and glad I did. Went up the river and out about two miles into Lake Huron. The lake was calmer than the river. Good opportunity to mess around with the trim and try to get some more speed.

It is the section of the Oneida River/Barge Canal between Oneida Lake and the Caughdenoy Lock if you go straight, or the fork to the right takes you towards the dam.

Is this the Caughdenoy Lock? I've been up in that area twice, beautiful place. Saw a 38' Cig when i was there last year.
