Anyone have Show Photos ft lauderdale

Talked to my buddy that went Sunday. He has been known to kill 2 full days at a show. His wife asked if he felt ok, he was back home in 3 1/2 hours. He said it was all CC's. Formula had a 353 w/700's for $502,000!
I didn't go, his response was "you saved $20 and your gas money!"

I think the promoter has squeezed so much money out of the events that "doing" a boat show was less and less relevant to small builders. With social media and the Internet it gives the builders a 52 week boat show for their customers or potential customers.
I have an ex-brother in law that built yachts. He said years ago for his company to attend Lauderdale it cost them 500k+ but they always felt not going was like missing the World Series of boat shows. To spend 500k and not sell one boat is a beating!
Manufacturers used to lean on local dealers for support ($ and personnel to staff the show) but if I was a dealer I would be leery of showing the product at the show and then have Joe Customer go back home to Main Street USA and buy from their local dealer!
