Default Comparing the following CC's

Possibly switching to a CC from a 33 AT Evolution. Have looked at a 35 STATEMENT with twin 400, 34cc FOUNTAN with trip 400, 32ccx SUNSATION with twins. NOR-TECH and MTI's are out of our price range. Wife liked the STATEMENT because of the room in the back and swim platform. We would appreciate any advice on brands, build quality, ride, and speed of a CC.

Concept may be another to look at if you want a 8 foot beam that is trailerable.

If you care about resale I would buy a couple year older 34 Nor-Tech over a statement, fountain or sunsation.

Have you seen what they are asking for a 32ccx? I get it's asking price but they aren't under 300k for even a 6-7 year old boat! I sold my 32 dominator for good money, but still couldn't afford to get into another Sunny. I went to a 30' concept to have that more sport look in a cc. Overall build and fit and finish is right there with sunsation imo, rigging is phenomenal. No input on performance yet since I just got it in Dec

I would take a close look at AMP. If it is as nice in person as it looks in the pictures and videos then it would be a top choice for me, especially with the pricing of some of the others out there.

I'm not even remotely in the market, but what about Deep Impact?

I've seen the prices but I suspect the guy Mark owning PBC and a piece of Sunsation is likely leading to higher asking prices. LOTO also asks prices that no where in the nation can replicate. Also consider covid pricing made everything expensive and now things are starting to get back to normal. C8 Corvettes were 10-20K over sticker and now you can buy them at MSRP. Truck prices were insane, now its back to reality of manufacturer discounts off MSRP and low percentage financing.

Boats will soon follow as the game of supply and demand fluctuates prices/values.

Being 302Sport buys and sells a lot of boats, his advice on a used 34 Nortech isn't bad advice. The NT is also a less trendy style compared to boats like the 32 CCX with fancy paint/bling. I like Sunsation but when they get loaded up the MSRP gets crazy.

Idk what you're looking to spend, but there's a decent number of 2013-2018 34 Nor-techs listed from $215K to $370K. Also, are you limited with LOA? Because if you're not, 37 Midnight, 39 Nor-tech, and 39 Cigarette can all be found in that $300K range.
