You may already know this; the maximum trim limit switch should be set at 21.75" center to center on Bravo drive trim rams. If you let the rams extend more than that under power, the drive is not supported in the gimbal, also hard on u-joints.

Yep your exactly right limit switch puts it about 1/2 on the gauge !
You need to know where on your gauge is neutral trim, where the drive is parallel with the bottom.. My boat likes the drive parallel and handling the trim with the tabs. It makes a huge difference in how my boat runs.
