Potter On Performance: Flush Your Engines—Not Your Money
Great advice from a man—engine builder Ron Pottter— who knows what he's talking about, http://speedonthewater.com/boat-rest...not-your-money

Hey Matt,
Curious, how are the topics selected for which he writes about?
I have read his articles, very nice, but wonder if there might be a way for the readers to ask a question or 2 that he can also answer in his column? This is commonplace and may lead to more article ideas that people are really interested in.
Just a thought.
You, Jason, and Ron keep up the great work!

So far, I've suggested topics to Ron and he's responded beautifully. But questions are welcome and I welcome them. Send them to me at [email protected] and I'll send them on to Ron. If one or another strikes his fancy, well, it will make our jobs a whole lot easier. Thanks for the great suggestion! M

would this HD Inspection camera be useable to see the internals of the cylinder and catch the insufficiencies of the owner's wash down process?
a periodic inspection might help

Good info. I do not boat in salt water yet but would the heat exchangers and exhaust on a closed cooling system benefit from salt away or a comparable? Should it be done at the end of every day? Thanks
