Boat worth less then truck and trailer
So in this crazy activity tied to flushing huge quantities of money down the drain who has a boat worth less then their truck and trailer combined ? And don't use the excuse of using the truck for other things.

Seeing as most new trucks are 50k and up I don't see this as being out of the ordinary. Many people use their truck as a DD and never put anything in the bed.......

I do. It's pretty easy when you can't afford a newer boat.
Truck is an 06 chevy 3500 duramax 4x4 that was 25k, boat is a 79 scarab 300 that was 11k and trailer was 1500. I think it's going to be a long time before my truck depreciates low enough to be worth less than any boat I own. Too many other hobbies that are fun and don't cost as much as a boat. I'm in my 20s and running my own business, so it's been hard to build up much credit. Everything I have was paid for in cash, so at least I don't have any payments hanging over my head.
But for a poor mans boat it still looks nice and goes fast compared to any other boats that are in town
and before the scarab, I had this donzi minx, also worth less than the truck.

Paid a 27 grand (principal) for my Van. Only one boat in my history that originally cost more then a grand. I may have put a couple bucks into them but they are bought and paid for before they ever got to my house.
