Default LOTO Sinking and other lake news

There appears to be contributing factor in the sinking of the 31 Chris Craft according to todays Lake sun, the boat had a "significant leak"in the stern near the outdrive.

Investigators opionion that the boat was going to sink anyway. The opearator of the boat was aware of the leak prior to leaving for party cove and had lodged a piece of foam in the flapper valve of the bilge pump to try to stay ahead of the leak.

Other News:

2 other boats had swamped that weekend a 17ft deck boat at the 3mm and a 22 foot ski boat at the 25.

Water Patrol is getting 20 calls a day for a size limit and other restrictions to tone down the lake. Water patroll says the worst part of the lake is from the no wake zone to Anderson cove because of the traffic and ALL THE CRUISERS COMING ON AND OFF PLANE!!! ( I had mentioned this on my objection to the the proposed nop wake zone). Water patrol says they enforce rules not make them and are refering people to their state Lawmaker.

This dumb son of a ***** needs to be prosecuted for negligent homicide, or at least manslaughter. Sure sounds like he knew the boat was not seaworthy, and took it out anyway. Now someone is dead because of it.

These are the kinds of *******s that need to be kept off the water, IMHO. Maybe he can share a cell with the Ohio driver that ran over the bowrider.
