Would be great to know what props were used on the Elim.
SweCat was testing their Xcat boat for this week's race on their new 400ROS power
What style props are these? But then again, these boats are not propped for all-out speed, but for quick acceleration out of the turns, and cornering, etc.
If someone is in Fujairah, perhaps they can report back or take a pic at what props are being in used in the race?

I'm looking for good alternatives to dropping 10K on those merc cnc cleavers that gave the skater318 and the dcb m-29 their best numbers.......

I prop tested my 525 2010 28 speedster with bob leach on lake Elsinore. He brought a pick up truck bed full of bravos to test with. Most had customers names on them and were well used. I don't think he has a stash of special props to test with. Coincidentally we ended up with 36 bravos at 115 mph in fresh water on lake simcoe. This 400 boat is fast. I wanted to hang my 2004 300x motors on the new boat but bob talked me out of it. Would have been a 100 mph boat at best

I really like Elim boats, and one day I want to own one.
I used BBlades Prop Slip Calculator, and the 34" pitch is not jiving too well either ==> http://bblades.com/propeller-slip-calculator/

The above is realistic as I have seen between 4 and 5% with 5 Blade Dewalds. Were these the same style 5 blade cleavers that were used on Steve's boat? These props were also used on the DCB 29 that netted more MPH also with mother Mercury there for that run also.
Steve's boat weighed in at 5500lbs so with the weight difference I am guess that alone is worth 3-4 mph. Also the Skater has so notch in the transom.
It is a good run. Looking like the 400r's are gaining momentum.
Shueman, Not trying to take anything away from Eliminator boats. For me it is not about the boat as they are two totally different animals. Only trying to get a feel for the 400r's and the gains over the 300xs's etc. You guys build some nice stuff and it is good to see new boats being sold.
In the end it is good to see other competitors stepping up as it only makes all brands better! JMO. Carry on
