Thank you, Jay Nichols, for all of your work, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...-nichols-style.

You've helped Desert Storm become what it is—one of the world's premiere performance boating events.

As a full-time job, "powerboat photographer" is a tough gig—much tougher than it used to be, for sure. Jay is working for a graphics company. As a former art director with a strong graphics and advertising design background, he's well-suited to that gig as a day job to pay the bills. Jay has told me that he plans to shoot locally this year, but won't travel much for boating events as it typically costs more to do so than the revenue from selling photos creates. He's not abandoning go-fast powerboat photography, but he is taking a much-needed and well-earned break.

I was wondering what happened to him. The normal, this is really fun but I need to be able to eat!

You say his home in Clearwater? I thought Jay was in Ft Myers?
