The boat had the big brackets on it cause it was set up for inboard's so you could trim it it need's a outboard engine well like the skater or shadow cat to mount the engines right to the trasom . If he would like to do that let me know I'm only a few hour's away from you ! Did he buy the boat from National marine? I know they had it for a while. Later Spark.

He bought it from lake cumberland marine
what about turnning it into an i/o is this possible?

Too much money to do the conversion. You are way better off finding an IO boat if thats what you want. I would bet you could freshen up the rigging and set up and be in the 90's.

We could change that boat into I/O's with out a problem at all !! You guy's should take a ride up and check out our shop, We have alot of neet project's going on right now! Later Spark.
