shooting Chop strand glass and resin to form the deck mold. This will quickly build volume for the mold. Very exciting times!

I'm guessing that the race boat will enter the SBI race in Clearwater, FL on Sept 30 as a shakedown race-run
Then be in the world's in Key West on Nov 6th
My personal guess, I claim to know nothing about P32 and SM's schedule, just pure speculation on my part

The picture below is a Phoenix 32 hull bottom with bulkheads in place, sitting on two shop dollies.

Vacuum Resin Infusion (VRI) and lightweight composite materials is proving to be a weight saving, stronger build solution for the Orlando-FL based builder

The race boat is coming out of its plug "covering". The canopy window has been opened again and slowly the race boat will be back together.

The hull bottom awaiting the deck

The deck is well underway. The primer black paint has already been sprayed onto the deck mold in preparation for the skin coat

the deck's skin coat application is progressing nicely. reinforcements on the lower areas of the canopy is being added

the deck is getting close for its Vacuum Resin Infusion (VRI), a closed molding process

Notice the 32XR race hull in the background. That too is awaiting its VRI.....busy busy!
