Default Anyone know anything about this boat

I have put a lot of miles and time into looking for a new boat the last six months. Only to be disappointed when I drive to see the boat. So this time I'am going to ask if anyone out there has any info on this boat before I drive four hours to see it. https://nh.craigslist.org/boa/5638416439.html Thanks Ricky

Thanks for replys. I have read up on Aerotek's. This one says transom replaced and motor has 10 hrs. Wondering if anyone out there knows this boat or has any info on it.

Challenger boats were built in Michigan until BAJA bought them out in late 92-early 93. I have one of the last ones built in Michigan and it is built extremely well. But I have heard they went to crap after Baja bought them out. They made a 22, 24, and 28 when they were made in Michigan and that doesn't look much like any of the 28's I've seen so I'm going to assume that boat was built after the company was sold.

That's an Aerotek out of Florida. It's not a Challenger. I owned an identical 28 for several years. It was a decent boat, light lay up and ran pretty good.

I know you were looking in the fountain forum. An idea is find a boat you really like try and get info from the owner better pics etc. And pay a surveyor to go look for 2-300 bucks. Between gas and time, time off, etc might be worth it.

I live in northern NY and its hard to find boats around. Had to go to Chicago for one, and NJ for another.
