Stage II heads, cam, cast factory headers, holley, msd, line lock. Several rear ratios to choose (I think a 4.10 is in it now). Factory sport wheels. Gorgeous.

Hey man are you sure about the Stage II heads? Buick never made exhaust to fit the Stage II heads. You had to run tube headers. At the time Buick set you up with a set of the old Mickey Thompson headers if you bough th Stage II heads.

I have a 71 GS455 in pieces that hopefully will be the subject of some winter attention now that the boat survived a summer
:D Also have a 70 GS clone that will one day get the aluminum TA Stage II heads I have and be a strip car.

I had a 66 Shelby GT-350, paid 1800 for it in '74.
Before that I had a 68 Camaro, plain jane, that had a straight 6 and a three speed. Guy I bought from gave me freshly rebuilt 327 as part of the deal. Paid 300 for it all.
In '76 I bought my wife a '68 Camaro RS convertable that had a 327, 4sp, full gage package. Was stolen two years later.

Friend of mine had a 69 Plymouth GTX, 440, 6 pack, 4 speed, 4.11 Dana rear. Had it since new and kept it stock. We used to trade, my Shelby for the GTX, on the weekends once in a while. It would pass anything on the road except a gas station.
When it developed a knock he offered it to me for 90 bucks. Like fool I said no.
All my frinds had muscle cars, 71 Chevelle SS 454, 67 Chevelle SS 396, 67 Camaro SS 350, 70 Nova SS 427 (Yenko), 69 440 Road Runner, etc. Great cars, good times.
