I agree with the above. If the tow company damaged your trailer you should bill them now so they can pass it on to the insurance co of the boat owner. It's just business that needs to be addressed. They messed up, they pay.

^and do not forget the emotional attachment that you had to that particular lock, bunk and tire. Passed on to you by dear ole Pawpaw after he met his tragic end at the hands of a grizzly bear whilst foraging for berries to feed his grandchildren. That ought to be worth something.

Both deceased were friends of mine for many years. Great guys that have been boating the lake for 30 plus years. I do not know the the Fountain owner and never saw the boat before. RIP to 2 great guys that were on the wrong boat at the wrong time. Very sad day for many of our crew that knew them.

^It is sad indeed. Always tragic to lose one's friends or family.

Very sorry !

May the pain and bitterness soon give away to loving and/or friendly memories.

Very sad. The picture in the link says "one of the boats involved in the crash" Was there another boat involved?

I'm so sorry Mark. Such a horrible feeling looking at the boat.

So sad, condolences to family and friends. Hasn't been a good month at all in the powerboating community.
