Great Video. I was in Key West and saw 2 of these appearing to be testing on Saturday afternoon. I watched both of them bring the bow up in the air. I thought they both were going to go over. I have to give credit to the driver/ throttleman, didn't seem to faze them, they continued on. I do like the lines. Looking good....

yes many other cats got airborne as well during practice and during the races. I guess it was rougher than it looked on screen

Wiki - Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical analysis and algorithms to solve and analyze problems that involve fluid flows. Computers are used to perform the calculations required to simulate the interaction of liquids and gases with surfaces defined by boundary conditions.

Just an example of the testing we do to produce the most efficient high performance powerboats. First render is essentially a digital wind tunnel showing particle behavior around the hull. Second shows friction from the air coming in contact with the hull as it moves around it. The third shows air speed and indicates a slower speed against the hull as expected due to the surface friction. Testing like this has helped us create and continue to improve our designs. Our hull has ~85% of the surface area of our competitors. Reducing surface area, reduces drag, increases performance
