Anyone used winmx lately?
 

I have been trying all day and it still will not connect, I was wondering if it may have got shut down like napster:confused: :confused:

Actually, I have never heard of that. I use Morpheus and KaZaA.

I havent been on today but i was on this past weekend.....i too sometimes have trouble getting loged on..hmmm :confused:

Morpheous and Kaaza both use spyware and are laiden with virus files that are shared. win.mx is much safer and better. IMHO.

PS. I don't think they have been shut down, keep trying.

I have Inoculate and Lavasoft Ad-Aware installed for that reason.

Anyone use bearshare? They are supposed to be spyware free.

it is 4:06 pm here in toledo and I was able to log right on to winmx

Make sure you have WinMX version 3.3

Version 3.2 and older will most likely not work anymore. I had the same problem until I upgraded (free) to version 3.3
