Wow,

Well, Mr Offshore, this site is OS ONLY, but it's all about boating. If I looked at the polls, I'd think it was Active Thunder only:)

I'm shocked at the number of AT supporters on OSO. They are great boats. I'm surprised it polls that close to Baja.

What's shocking is to me more than that is, why is't AT making more 25' boats? Or are they? There are lots of 25 Outlaws, and lots of votes for 25 ATB's, so, (I"m not 100% sure here, but sure would guess it) why isn't AT making more 25's? Are people just cheerleading but not buying the product?

Personally, I'll vote for the Baja. In that range, I think an AT is more of a "serious boaters" boat, and many don't know much about AT is (that are not on OSO), so the Baja would sell better down the road I think (for those that don't follow the hobby as closely or just getting into the hobby), due to brand recognition (resale not taken into account, I don't think the resale would be a factor here, many may say AT would lose less, but you'll pay more...so, you may lose less %age, but probably lose more $$$)

All of them are great boats, just a little surprised at the polling results.

I'd have to vote for a 24 Skater with Shane on the sticks!! That is one E-ticket ride. :D If I was looking at v-bottoms with cabins exclusively, I think the Active Thunder, the Pantera or maybe the Eliminator 250 Eagle XP in closed bow configuration. If I was looking at boats without a cabin, I'd only look at one thing...

22 Donzi Classic with a HP500 EFI and XZ or XR drive...man that would be fun!:p

Liopa,

What degree hull does that Ultra have? Doesn't look like a 24 deg in the pic. If it isn't, wouldn't that make it more of a lake boat than anything?

I would also add that the guys at AT are some of the nicest guys in the industry and seem to go out of their way to help their customers.

My favorite 24 ld progression one of the best rough water boats around . 100 % vacuum bagged all the best materials ( ame 4000, and all baltec panels , no plywood !! )

I am very happy to hear of all the people still interested in our 25', as a matter of fact. This thread just supports my own theory that Active Thunder should never have slowed down marketing of the 25'
I personally have admired how much boat you actually get. Now that I work there I can say first hand "I answere the phone" we recieve inquiries every day regarding all the sizes we present.
The 25' attracks a lot of attention becouse of its versatility!

Simply put its agreat boat and a fantastic value. Active Thunder plans on building all the models so long as you guy's want them. From the results of this pole I will bet we are going to be very busy this year.

Recently, we have doubled our staff to help meet the demand you boaters have created, Also we are expanding our facilities size. So don't be shy tell us what you want and we will build it! :D

Convincor,

Dream on. Are Checkmates a good boat? Yes they are. Stock power to stock power it will not. And in rough water not a chance. Hold there value better! OK!!!
