Default Recommend Good Boat Mechanic in Louisville ky area?

Hey I'm looking for someone with experience on TRS / Borg Warner set up with 430 HP merc. (twins) , nothing fancy. My boat been out for way too long and my guy seems to be dragging his feet on this project. I have always paid up front per estimate, so there is no "other side to the story". I am losing patience brand new B/W tranny delivered in early July and boat still sits. Trying to stand up guy I paid up front in June. (I'm realizing that apparently means nothing as others drop off their boats and retrieve them while mine sits). Fed up, and starting to doubt his abilities! Any good recommendations?

Is the guy who is "dragging his feet" also in the Louisville area? I would be curious who that is. I have not paid anyone to work on my boat in years. Been doing all my own work, and that has mostly been motor work recently. Last guy I had work on my boat is now essentially out of business due to drug / personal problems. Getting hard to find boat mechanics these days. Wishing you luck.

Yes he is( in Louisville), came with recommendations, but has seemed to be more interested in the quick fix and ship it customers. I've been patient, but losing it quickly.

Dixie Marine has done a lot of hi-performance work in the past. OSO name is "Dixie Doug" I think?
