32 fever,

there are just so many boats for sale. lets face it , it's not like cars that have a life of 7 years. look at how many cars sit in junkyards, how many totalled boats do you know of?

boat depreciation is no worse than cars,it's just that the numbers look bigger.

maybe this is some of fountains problem right now, just so many used boats that you can get a deal on, why buy new?

two year old lincolns can be had at the auction for 1/2 sticker price.

it's just supply and demand, nothing else:(

Thats a good question. I think it all started when a used boat guy took in a trade for some dope who took a super low offer. He started a precident and it has stuck ever since. I also agree that prices are way too high for new boats and the next guy just won't accept this and won't pay it. Remember anything is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. It is too bad because based on the actual run time a boat wears much less than an auto. Just buy used and don't worry about it.:D
