Default Alvarez Reunites with Shootout-Winning Eliminator 25 Daytona

The love affair with his 2008 Eliminator 25 Daytona catamaran was too much for Brendan Alvarez too resist so the Floridian bought the boat back and is planning a few updates.

Very cool story. I wondered what happened to him and the Daytona. I look forward to his future plans for the drive combo.

I agree with Bulletbob, great story, and definitely keep us updated on what changes are made to boat, and all the testing and modifications made, I really like that boat and the motor-setup, I do not know of any othersingle engine six cylinder pleaure boats that run 134 mph+..definitely a story to be told when he makes changes to the boat...you have my attention with this thread Mr. Johnson. good work

We pitted next to Brendan at the 2013 Shootout. Not only a great boat, but a great guy just doing what he loves to do. Maybe we will see him back at the Shootout in 2017!

He was at the shootout this year....he just wasn't racing though. I agree though, he and his crew are a great group.
