You have to check out Formula’s soon-to-be-released 430 Super Sport Crossover, the company’s first effort with outboard power.

That's a lot of boat. Bit unconventional looking but all usable space on deck. I notice the Formula "Build your boat" calculator already has the discount factored in.
Base model with 300's MSRP 1.054m less 263k down to about 790k.

I actually like that boat quite a bit. I hope they came come up with a similar setup that's a bit smaller, so it can be trailered by a DIY'er, vs. professional hauling company.
(Which would likely make it a 6-figure boat vs. 7-figures.

I'll be that guy. That's a stupid idea...

300hp outboards were not made to push 25k pounds. You're gonna eat up lower units like crazy. And the great thing about big cruisers is that huge swim deck to party on...that's out the window. That thing needs diesels and arnesons.

How is this any different than a 42' Hydra Sports that also weighs 25,000 lbs and runs just fine with quad 350's. (except for the fuel economy )

I like it.

It's no different. Those boats eat lowers too. Saw a 53 Hydrasports in key largo a few weeks ago with quads. Boat was massive.
