I think Outerlimits should have bought that boat back, re did whatever magic they do in their shop and take the boat to smash the kilo record. Just saying.

Not sure of the circumstances on the departure but also keep in mind that 12 years later XXX is still a story. Speed on the Water wrote about it, the boat has had 4+ owners since OL sold it to the public.

Where has that legendary Fountain, Cat Killer been lately?
