By the time its loaded up with accessories, has a wet exhaust and a set of cams that idle and don't revert, we'll see how much power it makes.

Its easy to make an auto setup scream, much harder to make that number in a boat.

Very cool piece no doubt, but the jury is still out on what you get in our environment.

That's actually not too bad of price for a turn key 775 hp engine from an OE level builder. Im sure they have orders already just based on uniqueness. LS9 638hp engine has a MSRP of 25.5k. I have 20k in to 427 LS engine I'm somewhat surprised they named some key suppliers. Callies crank/rods, Mahle pistons, Edelbrock Cast heads and intake.
It will interesting to see what they do with in the marine world, One could make the case that all of the "blue" BBC engines could be replaced by a version of this engine. NA or SC or Turbo, could easily make it cover the 525-700 hp and fill the gap in from 700-1100 hp with a blower or turbos.

I have since added it to the story .Again, sorry.

Mercury is genius. They just created yet another XR revenue stream.
