I have heard nothing but amazing things about the engines that Pfaff builds.

I got a pair of 750`s in my Top Gun, 671 blowers etc. Just completed a trouble free season 100+hrs. and they idle like a dream, thanks to Dean Nickerson and run like a bear.

Mine were orig Hawk Marine Power, had been gone through by Competition Marine in St Lewis, MO.

Beautiful motor! Who built your motors? Love those BLUE Eickert Headers! I too have a pair of Eickert headers and love them! The neighbors on the canal weren't too keen on them, so I installed a pair of Shotgun mufflers!

www.1800runsnew.com 540 GM marine crate with 575 HP. All good internals. Throw the blower on, mild boost, should be close to 800 HP. With good head work you should hit your mark.

The 540 is not listed on the web site, you will have to call. Ask for J.K.

Bajamag, Call Dean Nickerson. He is a blower / carb. guru. Buy the heads, blower, carbs, and cam from him and he will provide you with the necessary info to complete the project with any competent engine builder / machine shop. He isn't cheap, but that route is a hell of a lot cheaper than some of the other alternatives and will get your 850 + HP. Use a competent engine builder to follow Nickersons recommendations and you will have a good marine engine.

Apache77 that is a fine looking motor and the big inch N/A set up is a very reliable way to get some HP. Just have to ask if that mechanical fuel pump is your only source, or do you tee and electric M140 or something similar up to it? I have the same pump on my small 496 and have been told that up to 750 HP that mechanical pump is fine, but for any more a larger fuel flow delivery is required. Just curious.
