If you have any contacts with local law enforcement, see if the dive team wants to practice thier search techniques.

Magnets do not work well on SS and I assume this is a stainless prop.

If the bottom is not to silty and soft , and you have a close proximity of where it came off I think you stand a very good chance of finding it. Good luck! At least it didn't happen at loto in that muddy wata.

2 hours, two divers and we came up empty .. Well except for some solo cups T shirts and a towel and some gas staion sunglasses.
I had feelers all over for rescue teams / Chicago Marine units that would know how to run grid pattern better but nothing came thru ... time is of the essence. Lake Michigan this time of year is usually not this calm








The bottom is hard (sandy) not muddy as I had thought and vegetation is minimal ..still no luck.
