Default Dexter/UFP axles, great product/service

I just wanted to give a shout out to Dexter/UFP axles on their great customer servince. I had a boat in for a quick transom repair and while launching it for a water test last week the torsion sleeve stripped out on the right front corner leaving the tire stuck at the twelve o'clock position jammed against the fender. While scouring the net for replacments I gave a call to Dexter and they referred me over to their UFP division. I discussed what happened with Cindy in sales who linked me over to Dennis B the warrenty supervisor. I was looking to purchse the middle and front axle as the rear had been replaced a few months ago for the same reason. After a short chat Dennis sent me a form to fill out, went and got axle/trailer serial numbers and emailed info in. Not more then an hour or so later I recieved a reply that they are sending two complimentary replacment axles no charge. This trailer is twelve years old and I had stated had often salt water use in the past and without hesitation they offered to replace the bad axles despite being nearly ten years out of the original warrenty . . . blown away I was. Really renewed my faith in quality products with a quality staff behind them. Hats off to Dexter/UFP on an outstanding product and service.

We have been using Dexter axles exclusively on the horse trailers we manufacture. Have installed thousands of their 3500 torsion axles over the 16 years we have been in business. Dexter's service is fantastic. Warranty on torsion axles is 10 years, spring axles is 5 years. They have purchased the UFP and Alko axle companies as well.

actually the boat is a 99 and trailer is original to the boat. Either way they were out of warranty and they jumped right on it and took care of it without hesitation. Last five or ten years or so i have found myself getting a bit cynical when it comes to customer service in general. It was very refreshing to deal with, great people and great product. . . . . . simply outstanding
