2003 and up with the low-pro windshield and a single is hard to find. We sold 5 last year and I'm always looking for more. I have customers waiting. In 2004 we sold 20 new ones! All of them had single motors. A very nice low hour 2006-2007 with a 525 is worth north of 60k all day long.

I completely agree with what your saying. 2003 and up are really hard to find with 525 set up. Most likely cause owners with this setup in fountain do not ever wanna sell their boat. The 525/525sc is a bulletproof setup in the 29' fever.

What would you say it is worth?

If they bought low and sell high so what? You don`t have to buy it. Ding dongs like you have no clue what it takes to keep the lights on but armchair pricing all day long.
Btw, Grand Sport is a pleasure to work with.

I've got an 05 with 575. 270 hours. Have had it 81 a few times it might have had 82 in it but can't get anymore out of it. It's probably the cleanest one anyone could find as I used to own a detail company and now I sell the product so the boat is as close to perfect as possible. Sits on a Myco trailer and has the monster gauges/dash.
What would you say it is worth?

Good to hear that Grand Sport Center is good to work with. I have heard absolute horror stories about some brokers.
I do hope to still go down and look at the boat the middle of next week. It's about a 4 hour drive so I hope it's clean!

Wow! That boat is a rare one. Not many 2005's had the 575sci in it. The Fountain dealer price was 30k more then a 496ho, 20k more then a 500efi and 10k more then a 525EFI in 2004.The pricing didn't make sense. In 2005 not many if any were built with the 575sci. The motor was on it's way out along with the 500efi. Mercury Racing was giving all the manufactures great deals on the remaining motors. If I remember correctly the last 500's and 575's were being sold for just a little more then a 496ho. You also could go ITS for just a hair more. The Myco really helps the boat! Most 27's and 29's don't have Myco's because of the price point. The Myco was twice the $ and worth every penny of it. We sold a bunch of 27's with 496's and half those buyers went to the 29 with a 525 within a year. (The 29 was only $5000 more at dealer cost) Then an extra $20k for the 525. Does your boat have the short windshield? Does it have the embroidery on the seats and 29 on the hatch?

What the asking at a dealership is really doesn't matter. Its what they will sell it for cash that matters.
Go make them a serious offer with a 5k deposit in your hand.
Dealer asking prices have a huge cushion built into them for taking a trade in.
