29 Fountain with Ilmor engine for sale in Indiana?
http://www.grandsportcenter.com/pop-...0sddbno2zs4vv6
Anyone have any past info on this boat or any buyer beware I should know about? I have been reading and searching old posts and it seems like the Ilmor swap was done in 2010/11ish in Texas and then ownership has traded hands a few times since. This is all I really know.
The boat is being brokered by Grand Sport Center. Has anyone ever dealt with them, what should I expect?
If I move forward with it I would like to have it surveyed, my main concerns are the hull and transom, especially with its unclear hull hours and ownership info. Does anyone have a good contact for a surveyor in that area? Talking with the salesman he says he has a surveyor but I am a little leery of using a surveyor that the salesman recommends due to bias.
Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the info so far.
I did find the old build thread from the original owner who did the Ilmor swap. It looked like the original owner was very meticulous and took pride in ownership.
I did not know the boat was down in Florida, so im assuming it has been used in salt water for a period of time.
I know of at least 4 owners for this boat so far, if I purchase it, I would be the fifth. Does something seem strange here with so many owners?
