370ss how towable?

I have a dually and I`m used to towing a Flatdeck at 15, 000lbs.
Formula has it at 15, 000 dry plus trailer and gear, seems like it would be quite a load?

Anyone with any experience?

Towed my 400SS with a 2001 F350 Dually from Lake St.Clair to Hammond Indiana. No problem. Wide load permits and bridge heights are all you need to worry about .

my 1995 270 sundancer, searay said 6000 lbs. i towed it w/ a 1991 v 3500 4 door, long bed dually 4wd, 454 4spd, (stump puller)
every time i pulled away from a light i'd p in my caki shorts, laughing so hard 6k my left nut.

you could do it, but you'll know it's back there

same truck full of tool boxes, compressor, clothes, everything, towing the 30 scarab trs boat, full of heavy heavy parts
from az. to florida, when i moved, had zero issues, had to keep lifting to stay under 70

And can only pull during day light correct? Certain days as well?

MrCIG 12-11-2016 09:50 PM

Yes only daylight, no holidays, some states won't let you on Sundays too

That`s a nice set up mark.. trailer is sweet. So how is it going from a speed boat to a cruiser. Ever miss the speed?:cartman:

One of the best parts of owning a cruiser is having it at the dock ready for you to enjoy! Your family can enjoy it at the dock and have it ready for you when you get home from work. Trailering a cruiser defeats so many of the benefits including a wider beam, 12-14 is a must, etc.

So many powerboaters think that the SS formula is the answer when getting out of a go fast and moving to a cruiser, well it's not. Nice boats but they are not good at being a cruiser and not going to impress you in the performance department after having that badazz flatdeck.

Outdrive suck
Not enough room
Not fast enough for a thrill
Etc.

The only Formula I personally like is the 40PC and the 48 sport yacht
