Interesting that it stays put by itself.

So they gave you both parts of the snaps? ie the piece that screws into floor and marine mat top part of the snap to install yourself? Did you already have snaps in the floor from a carpet?

Marine Mat uses their own snaps that have a hole through the center,so everything lines up.If you look at post 40 and expand it you can see the snaps with the holes through center.

So you were not able to reuse your existing snaps mounted to the boat floor then Craney? I would love the versatility of the snap in, but don’t want to be drilling more holes in the boat floor.

My existing carpet did not have snaps. And like you I was not thrilled about putting more holes in the floor decided to try it without and see what happened. Does it move around a little bit sure but it doesn’t bother me that bad.

Second season on our seadeck. Glued down. We’re happy with it. The foam stuff (no matter what make) tends to get dirty. We just power wash it, even in the cabin, and it cleans right up.
