Default SeaDeck or Marine Mat

I want to get the Formula cockpit upgraded this season as the carpet is deteriorating on underside and black rubber is getting all over.

Question:
SeaDeck or Marine Mat?
Glue down or Snap in?

I have the cockpit carpet removed and can send out for template. I was thinking snap in designed and snaps put in same spot at carpet. Has anyone had this done before by using the carpet as template?

Had a carpet done 5 years ago for a Sea Ray 410 and the supplier already had the template for my boat and it was a first class fit. You may well find they have your template on file, it's not a unusual boat.

If you don't want something stuck down permanently, snap in carpets are so easy, pull 'em out to clean, roll up when not in use, comfortable to walk on and easily replaced if needed. The new woven style mats look great, fresh and modern, big improvement on those older style carpets with heavy rubber backing.

My 2 cents....

RR

Plasdeck is the OEM supplier for Formula so they would have the template but this is the glue down stuff. I have it on my walk through and swim platform, it looks great but it does get hot in the summer.

Mr. Cig , mark said Seadek had the template for a 400SS so all you gotta do is pick color and order.

Carpet gets wet starts to smell, Seadek is so much better... changes the whole look of the boat , for the better.

I know Seadek has the pattern for the 370Ss as 2 friends did theirs this past summer. Seadek is awesome. Drys fast and is not slippery when wet and cleans easily. Castaway Customs was the dealer we used
