Great article and sweet boat. These same thought's have passed through my head a couple of times. Big blower motors are just not everyday friendly, although I was lucky last summer.

Good luck with the repower and hope to see you guys at Skaterfest again this year!

Great article. Not to overshadow the story itself but will the used power that's for sale be in the classified section when the time comes?

I've heard of a lot of crazy things in my 41 years, that's up there.

After 32 years of boat ownership I agree, "more time on the water less worries and weekends on the dock".
Good luck Greg!

Thanks everyone. The power and the Skater are great but we are just cruising boaters. We would love to be able to "run it hard" but we do too much traveling to have to keep up with the big power guys at every event.

The only thing I don't understand about this guy is why didn't he buy a cheaper lesser powered (or no power) boat to begin with. Doesn't seem cost effective to pay a high purchase price only to yank these motors out and try to sell them unless he was just so in love with particular boat or couldn't find another similar one that he liked?

OK - edited! Didn't realize this was your boat CashBar. Still curious about my question though if you wouldn't mind sharing with us. I do think it is a beautiful boat though.
