Questions about Columbus Day Regetta at Elliott Key?

Linda and I are taking our boat down and wanted to know do people overnight there or does the party start all over again the next day?
We have Hotel reservation in Key largo Saturday night should we keep them or cancell?
Active Thunder has a "Thunder Run" that weekend in Key Largo are any Thunder people going to the Regetta?

I think people stat out there all weekend and it gets a little roudy . It's not that far to run back up from KL to Elliot Key each day. That's what we did when I did it a couple years ago with Stu. Sorry I can't make it, I'll be in St. Augustine the next weekend though.
