Nice getting to meet some of you guys.
Bunch of nice toys in one place for sure!
I knew I would be one of the slowest boats there, but my starboard motor was only pulling 5800 which is down from the 6200 it normally turns and what the prt was turning.
Had to really work to see 72 on the GPS!! Boat normally runs 77-78.
Did a band aid patch on this motor earlier this Summer and it's showing!
Best part was, i thought I found a good race---
it was the 103 MPH freakin Checkmate Persuader!!
That thing was dictionary definition of sleeper!!
Even idled like stock!
Here he is swearing it's stock :)
Will post some of my digital shots, and the 35's I shot with the zoom once they're developed.

this thing was monster!
he would give everybody he ran, the jump , he would always have 3 or 4 peoiple in the boat, wait on the other boat to be WFO, then walk em!

snuck up on this guy:D
he was running about 30 when I came from behind at a whopping 72 MPH's and blow past him.
about 30 seconds later you could hear that damn blower whinning.
He past me so fast I thought I lost a motor!!

here's one where the "Clip On" guys were trying to figure out what the hell to do about those damn I/O's :D

As I said, I watched ;)

I did want to stay long enought to see Todd get the 21' twin O/B Skater together to go aftre the turbo boat.
Was a pleasure meeting you Todd and I'm not going to forget your offer!
