I am thinking they are going to be very similar in both operating costs and maintenace issues. The 700's have been proven reliable and over the last few years the QC engines have proven the same. I have heard more than once of 1100's now able to push 300 hours. Not sure though if the QC engines need valve adjustment or checking of valve train on more frequent intervals. If so that would put maintenace costs above the 700's if you do not do the work yourself.
