Never heard that. Pretty sure bill put almost 200 hours on them. They had some tuning issues with mefi initially, switched everything out, and played around with water pressure.

Never heard of that but know this year alone it has ran Key west as well as tickfaw without issue at all.

Still has the goodwins in it.

Bad ass motors. I just think the thread starter meant- there was so much hype early, and then there hasn't been really anything written about them since.

Two more Skaters nearing completion with Goodwins.

One of the boats was slowed during the build by the overall custom job, not by the motors per se.

The 44 outerlimits that had Goodwin motors now has 1 season going on #2 of trouble free boating with new mercury power.

Yes we re-rigged the Outerlimits with new Mercury 1100's and it has been turn key overtime it has hit the water.

How long were the goodwins in it? Any details as why the switch?
