You want to see speed and Quality of any of these boats go to a RACE with big water.See witch boat break or crack and witch one run in the front. We all have the same power and drives so you really dont need a chart. If there not racing then they most likely arent durable a nuff(quality)and fast a nuff(speed).

Well, I can see this thread is turning into the typical Superboat owners bashing Progression owners party. Maybe Misty does come off a little arrogant but the facts are the facts. Are better materials and construction techniques put into the Progression? Yes, does that make the Superboat a bad boat? No. There are plenty of other quality boat builders out there also. It seems to me some of you guys have a chip on you shoulders why? BTW I always wave hello to guys In Superboats But then I wave to everybody Even the dopey fishermen tied to the dam bridge! I've owned both a Superboat and a Progression Please excuse me if I don't sound like the guys you went to school with

Default I wave hello too...

Rich M,

I agree with your post - there are indeed many fine boats out there. Some are just better than others.

I am a nice person too... I wave "hello" at Superboat owners, just as I pass them right by.

Just passing the friendship along. More to come later on boat construction...

No bashing on this thread! Let's contribute to the chart, guys. Have some backbone and rate the boats on your perceptual chart like I asked. Forget bashing. Remember what our mothers all said and ignore the bashing.

ragtop,

Feel free and fire away with some opinions. Ccan you set up a little chart with the boats of your choice where the horizontal rates speed and the vertical rates quality based on your perceptions?

My perception of the top single engine boats between 26 and 30 feet.

Quality speed Performance

1 Active thunder 1 Velocity 1 Activator
2 Phantom 2 Phantom 2Warlock
3 Pantera 3 Fountain 3 Kryptonite

After the top 3 I believe that they are too close and I don't know enough about each builder.

Another list should be what you would want to spend a weekend on
1 Active thunder
2 Pantera
3 Sonic

Just my perception.
