I love my APACHE and I will not own anything but an APACHE, I want to add a 21 with eggbeaters then a 37 T/S. Then one day a 41. Nothing takes the rough better in my opinion. just saying, not trying to start anything.

Some boats have to sport high speeds to be earn their stripes, Apaches can just sit at the dock and look bad ass. Because it takes 20,000hp to make it go 75 makes it no less bad ass.

You really need to go for a ride in one to understand, 2,000 hp will be in the low 90's in a pleasure 41 and you will leave the faster boats behind when it gets rough.

there is also Saber Marine that I guess has molds of the 41....

would be interesting to see their 44 center console based off the 41. you'd think given the hot trend in CC's and the love affair with the Apache this would be an easy sell but I don't think I've seen one.

The blue boat looks good but for 200k it should have 6s. I'm glad apaches have some value because people will restore them and keep them nice.
If you don't like the price buy an old scarab.

I read some of these replies and have to laugh. As someone mentioned, supply and demand but also taste, budget, and a whole host of other underlying factors that go into purchasing a boat. With that said, why would anyone pay $550K for a 36 Skater with eggbeaters? So you can go 115mph? big deal, there is always someone faster. And how about a 38 Beak with 565 and Bravos for $450K? Fact is the boating industry is unfortunately mostly filled with scam artist trying to obtain fat pockets from the consumer no matter the cost of their reputation.
The definition of a powerboater is someone who spends money they don't have, on something they don't need, to impress people they don't know. PERIOD

Sorry for nit-picking the above post but 450k for a 38 Fountain? The 2017 in the classifieds, probably the only one that will ever be built, is listed at 375k.

Agree with you how there's always someone faster, bigger, newer, flashier etc so I just go with my heart and stick to my budget.

Not so fast man... I agree that guys like this are around, but I also think lumping everybody that power boats into this definition is wrong. I've had several boats, paid cash, and bought them because it's something that makes ME happy. I could care less what anybody thinks. Plenty of good people left in this game that don't roll into the dock playing music so loud that it's literally impossible to ignore them. 4000 watts worth of speakers blasting out of the pop up deck hatches...
