StarTer wiring help
im not too good understanding electricity. And i just cant remember how many or wich wires are bolted where...???
it looks like i only or mostly have big red wires left unplugged, and i would put them on the stud where there is like a plastic square with other wires, basically the highest stud of the starter, im i right? If so that leaves me to ask why is there 2 other studs? One is really small... does not seem to have a negative wire direct to starter...
please teach me !!!))

Negative is the case of the starter to the block. No wire for that.
should have a large red wire (battery cable) and an alternator (charging) wire under a large stud.
also, should have a smaller wire (solenoid wire) to another smaller stud on the starter.
i believe it's red with a white tracer.

Yellow w red stripe goes to the inside small terminal.
Red battery, orange charging from alternator and red wire to the breaker on top go to the large terminal on the starter. if its stock Mercury
