Check this site out .As a kid I remember seeing the old Band X sail down Renolds channel in point Lookout N.Y. a 100 times My uncle once told me It was an old P.T.boat and the cabin down below the deck was unchanged at 8yr,s old I didn't think much about it, boy I wish I would have paid more attention back then seeing the old pic.s brought back a lot of memory's

Rich.M - Thanks for the link. Those are the guys from down here by me. They were devastated when the 309 had to go aground, so they're going to make sure the new one gets to stay on the water.

As I recall either Loyle or Hardy had a PT boat converted to a cruiser. They had a little thing going between each other to see who could have the fastest yacht. Guess who won?
