Default Who says you can't fish from a performance boat!!

I caught this 32" King Salmon from my buddies 29 Powerquest. Downriggers and all, but you can't really tell it's rigged for fishing if the riggers are stored. He did a nice job of rigging it. The big cooler on the back keeps you from having to ever bring the fish into the boat. You simply sit on the back of the sun deck, feet on the swim platform, and fight the fish. Net it into the cooler and you're done. Took about 10 minutes to land this one, and it jumped several feet high twice. Lots of fun!!!!

now lets see here

Need to have a poll on this one

What is the main difference between these two pictures?

Is it
A) 2,000 miles apart from each other

B) It was taken at least 45 days apart from each other

C) why is there a fish or fishing pole on OSO

or is it

D) All of the above!

Salmon on the grill sounds good.

Especially if the grillin is taking place afte a day boating on that sweet looking CAT

catmando, it's a King Salmon.....great fighting fish!! I once caught a 40" one that wieghed 29 lbs. Won a tournament at work with that one. Got a nice jacket for my effort. Took nearly a half hour to land it. Believe me, the difference between a 32" King and a 40" King are more than just 8 inches. This 32" may have wieghed about 15-18 lbs. or so. That extra 8" sure adds some weight!!!

Nice catch!! Custom modifications to my Sonic make it a great fish boat......many fisherman aboard charter boats wave and yell "hit the throttles" whenever I go by. <ggg>
