Default Dead battery

How can I open the engine hatch on a 1993 top gun if my battery is dead . I know there is a way but I can't find the post

if there is no mechanical bypass, you could open dash and hook up a 4 or 10 amp charger (no more than that) to battery positive red and ground block, might take a while, if you have an amp then that should have some good sized cables where you can charge faster

Isn't you battery switch under the back seat???

thought about that, but usually, no ground available there.

I've had this happen, the pump is under the rear bench. Jump it with jumper cables to a car battery or spare, etc. Green and blue wires I think go up/down.

green goes down, blue goes up. Negative lead to black
