Default Need help on boat insurance in FL????

My current carrier is dumping me because of length and HP.

PQ 280 Silencer with 496HO.

Anyone have recommendations for carriers. I do all my boating in the St. Johns River.

Any help is appreciated

I have had flawless rates and service with Nationwide, including island coverage, even with a $20K theft claim... That was after State Farm told me that the boat, all of a sudden, did not meet their criteria...

Pwrbotr,

Mind if I ask who your current carrier is? I'm in Jax also and thinking of moving up to something similar in size/power to your boat. I've got State Farm currently on a Baja 212 Islander and it hasn't been a problem but know you got me thinking about what will happen if I get a new boat.

Thanks

Many previous links on this subject. I own a 33 Powerplay and live in Palm City, Florida. (Stuart.) I use Total Dollar.
