A little piece of history
Guys,
Just read this, and thought I'd share the important stuff they don't teach you in History class !
In 1620, as every youngster knows, the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock. Less commonly known is that the Pilgrims set sail for Virginia, not Massachusetts. What led them to change their destination ? They were running out of beer. One voyager recorded this entry in his log: “Our victuals are being much spente, especially our beere “
Now I have a couple of thoughts on this:
#1 - If it wasn’t for beer, would we not be here ?
#2 - More importantly, why do the “blow boaters” call us powerboaters irresponsible (and wreckless)? …………. I can think of nothing more irresponsible than leaving without an adequate supply of beer supply for a journey (no matter how long or short)
Just though this was an interesting piece of
