A question for all - Munchies
Ok guys, just putting up a simple post for fun, that anyone can reaspond too, no matter what kinda boat you have , or even if you don't have a boat.
What do you consider the best munchies to be, or what do you take with you when you're out on the water ? I was gonna try the poll thing, but i figued this wouldn't limit us ! |
Mixed cocktail nuts rock! Almost always have some.
Lays Bistro gourmet chips are pretty damned good too! :D :D |
Chex mix in the bag, honey-nut variety.

Munchies
Bugles are always a hit

Oops forgot to post mine:
Party cheese in a can (the squirt kind) and a bunch of crackers or Pretzels or Chips |
doritos, beef jerky, and beer:D
|
Just once,
Beer - is it a muchy, or necessity ? LOL |
Bugles and/or Cashews. YUM! And for a rare treat Grandma Utz' chips from the brown bag, when I have recently been to PA to get them.

I prefer to bring lite foods along. No heavy sandwiches, cakes or pies. We'll pack fresh veggies and some type of dip, fresh fruits, seafood salds, cooked shrimp (pealed), things like that. Maybe fried chicken once in a while. I don't like to bring cookies or chips because they make such a mess, especially with the grandson aboard. If something messy does find it's way on I'll make whoever is having it sit on the swim platform to eat.
I also limit what can be brought along to drink. No berry juices, cool-aid, grape juice, some wine coolers, etc. Those things can really stain the vinyl. Soda, water, beer, Bacardi Silver (and others like it), among other things, are ok. Sometimes I feel like a prick about these things but since I get no help in cleaning and maintaining the boat, I should be able to control what comes along. |
