WOW....what a day!! We had Cignificant, BillR, Reckless, and Vyper out for a high speed run from Lynnhaven Inlet, past downtown Norfolk, and down the Intercoastal into Chesapeake. Some big water on the bay and some warm sunshine on the river.

If we don't get to go boating again this year I will not be disappointed. A very well spent $100! Bryan thanks for the company....you kept us in stitches. And my underwear should come clean after a good washing. Hope you enjoyed driving the 'Only Child'. If that is only the second time you have driven a twin engine boat you are ready!

Great day. Glad Bryan could come along. Water by the aircaft carriers was SNOTTY. Wakes from big cruisers, tugboats and pleasure craft not to mention the water blown up by the stiff winds all bouncing off the piers and ships. . . . . . was, well "interesting.
Steve hope you had a good ride home, good to see you again.

In my book, Boating season is STILL NOT over yet.

I'm heading out the door to load the engines with anti-freeze. I hope to see you all again around Christmas. Thanks for the hospitality!!

You left early!! Plus you went left vs straight!!

It was fine going in, but leaving the wind blew it up pretty good, but the big boats returning for the day and tugs made for some real crap bouncing around.

Good day tho

when ya want to do it again?

Great partying with you Steve! I'm with you on the water conditions. I let Bryan drive from downtown Norfolk all the way up river past the carrier piers. We were getting hit with a stiff wind on the front quarter pushing the port side down and Bryan was runnin' with ZERO trim....at 60-65mph! You should have seen my wife's face!! The PQ ate it up! Then we turned the corner and had following seas from the HRBT in to Lynnhaven. We took the opportunity to slow a bit, quench our thirst and enjoy.

Awesome day!

Steve, What are you doing, we still have weeks of boating left before the winter wraps go on. Made it out Saturday for a little run but didn't have time to get down river too far. Saw a bunch of the RPBA guys going out as we were coming in. The sun's going down too early to go out mid afternoon.
