Sharkey, I just read through this whole thread and I have to say THANKS! Although I don't have the history and knowledge that some of these other guys have, this was an education in itself.
On another note I want to thank you for posting all the pics of the Hydra's. I purchased one from Kurt's, now bandit, and i am still running out of there now. It's a 32, red cat that Wherlen bros used to run. Do you have any shots of it from when they had it? Danny is still doing the engines, it should be a 125-130mph boat when we're finished. good solid boat, little on the heavy side but stable. i thought that the red 36 was my boat for a second until it came out it's a 36. Thanks again! |

I never really had much opportunity to shoot the boat when Wherlen owned it. Certainly would be more than happy to now that you have updated it... ;) |
I know you did some shooting to help out Bandits Grand opening and web site. I think they want to do some stuff for their site on customers rides and boats their putting out etc. My boat is there now having a drive redone. It would be great to have some then and now type of shots. I had spoke with Jack right after I bought the boat about doing something with the windshield. I bet he would like to see one of his creations updated with todays power. Someday I would like to meet you and Jack. I'm learning alot! Thanks!
