BBC exhaust port plates
Hey the FORD guys use them. Has anyone tried them on a BBC (not the FORD plates) Does anyone make them?? It is easy to make the intake ports flow but the exhaust ports stink. Is their a market for them if they worked??

hey tink, no i never had the chance to flow test them but they look just like a set of air flow research exhaust ports. i copied the shape of the port floor. if you know how to port heads you would se how nice these pieces fit into a 990 head. i should have patented these items 20 years ago when i made them, sorry i didnt, but i cant see any reason why they wouldnt work. maybe jim v couldn enlighten us. i could make them for any other head also, cause i have access to a foundry. how about some gearcase holders for when the unit is off the mid section for storage,or to hold 10 of them for a repair shop or a marina for storage, were working on that rite now,i will let all know about this one!!! tripps. ps one of the reasons i didnt persue the port fillers is cause i knew that better was on the way,sad excuse isnt it
