Default Boating season's not over yet

53 deg and sunny in Richmond. That's about 10-12 deg below normal and we still went out today. It was a great day although a little chilly, 55 deg at 55mph is pretty cold. But supercharged 502s like cool air and it ran great. So where was everyone else??? Saw plenty of fishing boats but NO perfromance boats. I'm goimg to stay at it at least through Thanksgiving. We allways try to have a turkey sandwich run before winterizing.
They're calling for 60's next weekend, anyone else up for a run?

Well I can't speak for Richmond, but I can speak for Maryland! Velocity Mike, bsag ,Extreme Fanatic and I went out today, highs of 57, and we had a GREAT time!!!! We had 3 other boats meet us. One of which was Mark from southern Maryland. We couldn't have asked for a better day!!! Thanksgiving ( huh ). I am thinking December. I can never be too cold!!!

We still have Wild Horses in the water. Went out of a blast in Barrie on Saturday afternoon, everyone on the beach thought we were nuts.... we were. Middle of a snowstorm, 27 degrees, fog, blasting down the lake at 60mph with sled suites etc. on. I have pictures, however, they will have to wait until the film is developed.

'specially when u finally got on it, (watchin' the old fuel gauge drain rite before our eyes!!! ). Gotta love that old "orange lite bridge" ... least when we hit there, lite's a-flashin - know we MAY HAVE just enuf to make it back to dock!
See ya there next weekend - hot - in the 60's - maybe can even flash!!!

I would love to hook up at Smithfeild Station.
Not 100% sure about an overnighter, BUT will consider it.
I'll forward to rest of HRPA.

I'm definitely game for a run to Smithfield.

I knew it was too early to stabilize the fuel. Glad I only used half the bottle.
