Ford v Chevy v Dodge - great article on pickuptruck.com
There's a great article at http://www.pickuptruck.com/ comparing the diesels from Ford, Chevy, and Dodge - the Ford is the new 6.0 diesel.
Article is in three parts, with the first part posted this week, the rest to follow. Performance reports include 1/4 unloaded, 1/4 towing a 12k+ trailer, manual v auto, the works. Interesting reading.... |
Looks like the Isuzu I mean Duramax rocks. :D
I don't think it was fair to have the Dodge included because it had the 4:10 gears, I'm sure thats why the manual truck won that part...except for the 90 mph thing , I'm assuming it wouldn't even make it to 90 with those gears. I'm still not ready to sell my noisemaker Dodge! |
Duh !!!! I just looked at the bar graphs and assumed the higher one was the winner:rolleyes:
Trying to multi-task and not doing to well!!:D |
Troutly,
:D Looks to me, like the NEW PSD smoked EVERYBODY! I'm going to wait a couple of years for Ford to de-bug it, and then if HQ approves the req., we'll get a new one. MD |
Great Article...No surprise, Ford Rocked 'em! :p:p:D:D

Here's another great Article!
There's nothing but good coming out of this new series of trucks! http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/2003...ive/page1.html |
I hear ya! I really want one after reading those articles - problem is, if I buy the truck, I can't afford a boat! And I can't buy a boat if I don't have a truck to tow it with!
Sounds like a chicken and the egg problem - what came first, the tow vehicle or the tow load??? :) |
Exactly why I bought a 2003 F350
cause it kicks all the others in the ass!!!! Jason |
Mines faster... it will go over 98mph:D
The sport package on the Ford is pretty sweet looking ! |
